Custodial Specialist

Job Description

Perform daily cleaning functions effectively and efficiently in accordance with Company procedures and guidelines including, but not limited to:

  • Emptying trash throughout facility;
  • Cleaning work areas and break rooms, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and wiping down counters;
  • Sanitizing restrooms including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down sinks, brushing down toilets, cleaning mirrors, emptying trash, and filling soap and paper dispensers;
  • Sweeping and mopping baseboards and floors in general areas of the location.

Perform other scheduled and regular routine cleaning functions as assigned including, but not limited to:

  • Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees;
  • Cleaning and polishing furniture or other fixtures;
  • Moving heavy furniture or equipment to thoroughly clean areas that are not trafficked heavily by client employees and customers.

Complete any designated checklists or work orders as assigned by the President.

Notify President of supplies and/or tools needed prior to actual depletion to ensure that work is performed efficiently and effectively.

Monitor overall assigned facility to report any facility maintenance issues to the President or maintenance crew including, but not limited to, building leaks, poor floor conditions, or other similar damaged areas.
